Ad Campaigns

Our "Open Letters to the Post Ad Campaign"

In February, 2004 EyeOnThePost.Org launched an ad campaign of "Open Letters to The Washington Post," beginning with display ads in The Washington Jewish Week. When funds permit, it is our intention to run similar ads in The Washington Tiimes and The Washington Post. The following are the first three ads we have placed. 2-19-04 Washington Jewish Week, "Open Letter" Protesting Aspects of Washington Post Front Page Article "Israel Hems in a Sacred City"

3-25-04 Washington Jewish Week, "Open Letter" Protesting Washington Post's prolific use of the word "terror" and "terrorist" when referring to Madrid bombings but refusal to use the same words when referring to Ashdod, Israel bombings two days later.

4-1-04 Washington Jewish Week, "Open Letter" Protesting Washington Post's disparate treatment of Israel's killing of Sheik Yassin to the US policy of targeting of Osama Bin Laden for killing.
