Why does this story continue to have wheels?
Is this a case of outright 'be scared of the puppeteering Jews' anti-Semitism or is there something to this story? I know AIPAC denies any wrong doing- how are the even associated with this story as an organization- it reads as though an individual AIPAC member might be involved, but not the entire organization. I'm simply trying to sort out the purpose of the leak and the get to the bottom of the story.
Some editorials claim that it is a battle between different factions of the Bush Whitehouse over U.S. policy towards Iran. But it seems far to aggressive and public to be an internal policy squabble.
Is it a political attack by someone loosely related to the Kerry campaign?
